Keno Rules

Keno is a very simple game to play. Although there isn’t much to learn it can be very enjoyable, and gives you the opportunity to walk away with big wins on small wagers.
It is a lottery type game with a large board marked with the numbers 1 to 80. In a basket are balls also numbered 1 to 80. Twenty balls are drawn at random.

The objective is to predict the numbers of the twenty balls drawn. You may choose to bet on up to fifteen of the eighty numbers on the board in one play. The objective is to have as many matches as possible. The more matches you have, the bigger your payout will be.
There are various types of keno - in Nevada keno, a popular version, you will receive a keno card with numbers from 1 to 80. After selecting your numbers (up to 15) you’ll hand it over to the clerk, who will then record your numbers. A computer programme will randomly generate winning numbers, which you will mark them down on your card (as you do in bingo).

The amount of numbers you select influences whether or not you will have a winning ticket and how much your payout will be. For example, if you select five numbers and three come up you could get a payout of 3 to 1, whereas if you got all five numbers you could get $322 dollars paid back to you.

You can also choose to group different numbers to give you different winning combinations. Your winning chances are not improved, but it can make for more exciting game plays.
